This one is all about simple gadgets and gizmos you can take with you to make your journey that little bit easier (and healthier too).

Nothing fancy, expensive or cumbersome. Just easily accessible, basic tools that will allow you to get the most out of your adventure, wherever it may lead you.

1. FUEL: The Non-Perishable Kind

For me, tasting authentic cuisine from different parts of the world is one of the things that makes travel so fulfilling.

That being said, there will most likely be times when you’re in the middle of nowhere and unable to find anything that you’d like to put into your body.

That’s where having some non-perishable, nutrient dense snacks on hand can be a lifesaver.

Some simple go-to options:

  • A bag of nuts, seeds and dried fruit.
  • A supermeal blend (the Ambronite snack packs work a charm)
  • A can of sardines in olive oil (if you opt for fish)

2. WATER: For Clean Hydration

It may seem a little obvious – taking a water container with you when you go travelling. But the type of bottle you use is worth considering.
