A very quick announcement to start with – all GlycoGenesis pre-orders were sent out today, and those who ordered should be receiving their packs over the next few days. The pre-order 10% discount code is no longer active as a result. We’d love to hear any feedback you have on the product, and will be working continually to make any changes a lot of people want.
With that out of the way, we can move on to the main subject of this post. As some of you may be aware, we recently posted a survey about packaging for our products, in order to determine if we should make any changes in these regards. As a result of posting this on the soylent subreddit without initially having extremely obvious branding, it seems many people believed this survey was being posted on behalf of the Rosa Labs product Soylent. However, we’re including the results of these people, as the questions were deliberately not brand-specific, so people’s comments will be applicable for all brands.
In the interest of transparency, below are the questions asked with their answers, and our thoughts on the results:
Question 1:?How much does the packaging of the product matter to you?
The answers to this question are very much what I expected. In isolation, this question does not provide too much information regarding our next steps, but what it does do is allow us to weight people’s responses based on how much they care about the packaging. This weighting would not apply to questions involving price or shelf-life, as those who don’t care about packaging at all would not want a price change or a decrease in shelf-life as a result?of it. However, for the purposes of the ideal form of packaging, and the type of packaging, the following weightings have been applied
