Last time in the Ambronite Superhero Series series, we looked at nutrition as one of the foundation stones of a modern day superhero. How the food we eat can determine our ability to choose the path we want to take in life. This time we’re exploring something just as important, and in many ways, equally complex – human movement.
Whether we look towards Hercules and his demi-god strength, Spiderman and his agile, web-slinging antics, or the fierce tenacity, poise and accuracy of Katniss Everdeen – it’s evident that movement is a key virtue of any hero or heroine, ancient or modern day.
It’s another foundational trait that supports the hero’s journey of self discovery, challenge, and adventure, and as we touched on last time, it’s not something that’s solely reserved for those that grace our movie screens and favorite books.
Movement is something that’s available (and beneficial) to all.
