Things go wrong sometime and I bet we’ve all dropped a shaker, but sometimes timing is everything. TIFU at a sporting goods store. from r/Huel Is that the worst spill ever though? Certainly goes a bit further than the image we found on the Huel forum. Thanks for letting us use it as the thumbnail […]
Last year treated Huel pretty well. Sales in new markets seem to be on the up and up and their dominance of the UK market seems to be all but complete.
It’s nice, I really enjoyed the vanilla and it mixed up easy enough, but the lower carbs just don’t seem to suit me well enough to have this a lot as it leaves me feeling widely tired if I have it for two meals in a day.
How’s down great after a session at the gym though, which is probably more what’s its targeted at anyway.
Really disliked the chocolate

I tried and liked the regular Huel before, but have since tried to switch my diet to keto recently. It’s pretty hard keeping up with that while preparing food, so I tried a few ready-made and shake options like Genesis, but they weren’t bearable in terms of taste or incredients. This one however tastes acceptable and is exactly what I need. I like the regular shake slightly more, I think that’s partially because of the oaty taste that they obviously can’t replicate in a shake with fewer carbs. Really great product, can recommend!

The main difference to my ‘normal’ is mouth feel. It’s much smoother and lacks the texture/grit that I’m used to – but I think that’s more to do with the change from the v2.3 recipe to v3 rather than Black vs White.
Flavour is nice, the usual subtle Huel. Is it milder than 2.3, I’m not sure. It’s no unpleasant and tastes quite nice and I can see it being easy to tweak. I’m not sure flavour boosts are going to work very well with it though, I think it’ll be way too sweet.
