"Nice bottle size."

Pretty good, would be better if it was vegan and in tetrapak like mana, taste a bit like a cheap protein drink. 🙂

"Small volume, big enjoyment"

Texture is good, really really good. At first I liked my ‘lents super thick like shakes but I’ve been coming round to thinner drinks recently and this is by far the thinnest consistency Complete Food that I’ve tried – somewhere in between a Frijj and a glass of water.

Taste is fan-bloody-tastic. It’s a neutral ‘none’ flavour with a touch of sweetness to it. My first tentative sip was quickly followed up by several gulps that saw me drink the entire thing in a few moments and almost follow up with another bottle straight away.

Ingredients: semi-skimmed milk, cream, milk protein and maltodextrin are where the the smoothness and drinkability come from, but that makes it not vegan. Doesn’t matter to me but I know it will to some.

Packaging I’m not a massive fan of to be honest. it’s not bad per se but with the bottle text in English and Estonian it’s all very busy where the rest of the sector seems to be aiming for hyper simple / discreet packaging. The shaped bottle fits nicely into my hand though and the lid is secure and easy to drink from.

Final thoughts…

At 310ml it’s the smallest volume Complete Food that I’ve tried but the 480kcal make it nicely filling. I’m used to 700ml/750kcal shakes from powder so I was tempted to double up on the bottles but after a couple I was happy treating one bottle as a one meal.

The smallest pack is four bottles so for once, it’s easy to get a trial pack without committing to getting loads; which is the perfect size to try a product and I wish more companies had this size order available.

I did find it interesting that the bottle says suitable from 12+ years on it – this is the first time I’ve seen a manufacturer suggest their product is suitable for under 18’s.

Will I get more? Yes. Do I think you should try it? Yes.
